Jackson Rep Says 35-Acre Bill Goes Too Far
Cheyenne, WY – A Jackson representative thinks that the bill that would allow counties to regulate large subdivisions is out of control.
During debate on a bill that allows counties to regulate subdivisions over 35 acres Representative Keith Gingery complained that the bill is too cumbersome.
Gingery says state law only required a line or two to give counties the power they needed, but the bill in the house has too many regulations for counties to follow. Gingery says the best thing to do is to kill the measure. It will be heard for a final time on Friday.
