Laramie, Wy – Jackson Hole residents want organizers of a possible business school to commit to saying where in their area the facility might eventually be built.
A steering committee is looking at establishing a Teton Institute of the University of Wyoming. Initially the institute would host business seminars in Jackson Hole.
Eventually, that could be expanded into a business school.
The committee has been holding hearings around the state on the proposal. With soaring real estate prices and emphasis on preserving open space in the Jackson area, several residents said Thursday that it might be a good idea to begin looking for a site now.
Other people said that for the same reasons, Jackson might not be the best place for a business school.
