James Goodrich Tapped to Head State Fair

Cheyenne, WY – The Wyoming Department of Agriculture has
hired James Goodrich as the new director of the Wyoming State Fair and Rodeo.
Goodrich replaces Barney Cosner, who recently accepted a position as director of the Nebraska State Fair.
Goodrich is a Wyoming native and manages a family farm near Wheatland. He has worked for 22 years as a seasonal employee at the National Stock Show in Denver and recently has held the position of livestock show manager.
Goodrich holds a bachelor's degree in animal science from the University of Wyoming and a master's degree in animal science from Oklahoma State University.
Goodrich says he wants to make the fair a fun and enjoyable event. Goodrich begins his position as director in February, following the National Western Stock Show.
