Legislature Looks Back at a Job Well Done
Cheyenne, WY – Senate and House Leaders had a chance to thump their chests and proclaim this year's Wyoming legislative session as very productive.
Lawmakers discussed the investments they made in a variety of projects and noted the extra money that's being given to local government and highways. Senator Ken Decaria of Evanston expressed amazement at the legislature's work on carbon sequestration.
House Floor Leader Colin Simpson says more work needs to be done in the area of Community colleges while Speaker Roy Cohee said the state needs an overall tax policy.
