Libertarian Candidate to Challenge Cubin

Casper, WY – A 57-year-old Casper man has announced
plans to run as a Libertarian candidate for the U-S House seat held by Representative Barbara Cubin.
Thomas Rankin says he's "fed up" with Wyoming's congressional delegates.
Cubin, a Republican, is seeking a seventh term. Rankin says he supports campaign finance reform and immigration
reform.
As one who suffers from multiple sclerosis, Rankin offered his inside knowledge of the Medicaid and Medicare programs as credentials for his candidacy.
The Libertarian Party qualified as a major party under Wyoming election rules in 2004. That means it will select candidates for major political races during the August primaries.
