Rawlins, Wy – A Cheyenne man accused of causing a traffic accident that killed a Nevada man and injured his two stepdaughters in April has pleaded not guilty to felony charges.
Arthur Harry Anton of Cheyenne faces felony charges of
aggravated homicide by vehicle and two counts of aggravated assault
and battery. He also faces misdemeanor charges of driving too fast
for conditions and reckless driving.
Authorities say the 47-year-old Anton was driving a semitrailer
eastbound on I-80 near Walcott Junction on April 16 when he hit a
car parked on the side of the road.
Andrew Frank Watson, 31 of Reno, Nev., died later at a hospital.
His 9-year-old and 7-year-old stepdaughters were injured.
