laramie, wy – State Superintendent of Public Instruction Jim McBride says he will seek the office full time. Mcbride will announce his candidacy for the post he now holds for the interim at a news conference today in Cheyenne. McBride was appointed to fill the post abandoned when Trent Blankenship quit to take a job in Alaska. In a prepared statement, McBride says he has already improved education in the state. He says he has many other things he'd like to accomplish. And he's the first to announce he will seek the position.
