Metal Shard Found in Applebee's Meal

Cheyenne, WY – A woman says she found a sharp piece of
metal in a stir-fry meal at an Applebee's restaurant in Gillette.
Restaurant officials say the object may have come from a
vegetable dicer.
Tammy Benedict, of Spearfish, South Dakota, says the incident
happened Saturday afternoon. She says she saw the metal while
stirring a bowl of crispy orange chicken, a dish of breaded chicken
covered with orange glaze and served over vegetables and rice.
Maggie Stine is president of the Applebee's franchisee. Stine
says employees threw away all products that could have been diced
by the machine. They also replaced the dicer.
