Meth Problem Plateaus?
Laramie, Wy – The meth problem in Wyoming has hit a plateau and things may even be improving. That's what Doctor Ann Reyes the methamphetamine program coordinator says. She is finishing a report on the impact of meth on the state and how well the government is dealing with users. Reyes says while the problem is getting better, it's still serious and expensive. The costs come from increased numbers of child protection cases for the Department of Family Services and Reyes says another expense is cleaning up meth labs, often between 20 and 30 thousand dollars for one lab.
