Cheyenne, Wy – State democrats say their voter registration numbers continue to rise.
The latest figures from the Wyoming Secretary of State show that
Democratic registration climbed 4 percent from Feb. 19 to April 1. Most of the new registrations occurred before the state democratic caucuses.
Republican registration statewide dropped by about 100 people over
the same period. But before democrats get overly exicited registered Republicans still outnumber registered Democrats
by more than 2 to 1 in the state. There are about 137,000 Republicans compared to 60,000 Democrats.
