Laramie, Wy – Casper College plans to begin offering scholarships in addition to what the state's Hathaway Scholarship is providing to students.
The program is called Hathaway Plus.
The criteria to qualify for Hathaway Plus are the same as for the main Scholarship. Students need to have an adequate high school grade-point average and A-C-T score.
Students who qualify for the highest tier of Hathaway already get nearly all of their tuition paid at any of Wyoming's community colleges. But through Hathaway Plus, Casper College students who get the Hathaway highest tier also can get another thousand dollars a semester.
A similar scholarship is now being offered at Central Wyoming College.
