Museum reopens in Worland
Laramie, WY – The Washakie Museum in Worland got a huge make over and has moved into a new state of the art building. Inside there are interactive, computerized displays about dinosaurs, wooly mammoths and the old west.
Cheryl Reichelt is the museum's executive director. She is very excited about the new facility.
"The old museum at one time was a church, let's just say it's falling down. There's no comparison to the old museum to this new one. It's just unbelievable."
The new 25-thousand square foot Washakie Museum is now open. It was built by the Newell Sargent Foundation.
