New Online Tool for Business Community

Cheyenne, Wy – The Wyoming Business Alliance is expanding an online program designed to get businesses more involved in politics. It's called the Wyoming Prosperity Project and is now a free service to companies. It is designed to inform the business community on key political issues tracking elections and policies in the state legislature that are important to business. Business Alliance Assistant Vice President Bill Murphy says there have been times when the legislature was somewhat less then business-friendly, so this could let lawmakers know the business owners are paying attention.
Murphy says this resource will allow businesses and their employees to find out how their elected officials vote on certain issues, and how to get in contact with lawmakers. Included among the topics the Prosperity Project followed in the past session were the Hathaway Scholarship, four-lane highway funding, and split-estates.
