Jackson, Wy – Teton County commissioners this week will
consider a proposed design for a new tram building at the Jackson Hole Mountain resort. The resort closed the old tram before last ski season.
It has contracted to build a $25-million replacement lift. It
plans to get the new lift completed in time for the 2008-2009
Both the Teton County planning staff and planning
commissioners have recommended approval of the proposed terminal
building. Plans call for an 82-foot tall clock tower on the
building. The old building had a clock tower that rose to 93 feet.
