No charges in tractor/taser incident
Laramie, WY – The Converse County attorney says his office won't file any charges after police used a Taser to try to subdue a 76-year-old man driving an antique tractor during a Glenrock parade.
County and Prosecuting Attorney Quentin Richardson released a statement Monday after reviewing the state Division of Criminal Investigation's report into the Aug. 1 incident.
Glenrock Police Chief Tom Sweet says Bud Grose ignored an officer's traffic command and then kept driving until officers pulled in front of him.
Sweet says an officer shocked Grose with a Taser, but that failed to subdue him.
Sweet says Grose climbed down from the tractor only after his son talked him down.
