No Luck Yet In Yellowstone Searches
Laramie, Wy – Officials in Yellowstone National Park are scaling back their search for a Boy Scout who fell into the Yellowstone River two weeks ago.
Thirteen-year-old Luke Sanburg, of Helena, Montana, was apparently swept into the river on June 24th while camping. An extensive search involving some 250 individuals has failed to turn up any sign of Sanburg.
Meanwhile, searches continue for 19-year-old Candace May Kellie, of Belgrade, Montana, and 59-year-old Joseph R. Miller, of Seattle.
Kellie's truck was found partially submerged in the Yellowstone
River on June 29th.
Miller was last seen canoeing in rough water on Lewis Lake on
July second. Late that afternoon, a backpack, life jacket, canoe and other items belonging to Lewis were found on the lake shore.
