Yellowstone National Park, WY – Rules that allow snowmobiling to continue in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks were finalized Thursday. Wyoming Travel and Tourism Director Diane Shober is pleased with some of the changes made and hopeful the rules will withstand a lawsuit challenging them. But Shober says reservations for snowmobiles and hotel rooms are sluggish so far this year, due to the court case and minunderstandings over what the rules allow. She says concessionaires and outfitters rely on the Christmas season for anywhere from 35 to 40 percent of their business. A hearing on the lawsuit is set for Monday in Washington, D.C.
