Pavillion water discussion will be later this month.

Riverton, WY – State regulators have scheduled a public meeting to discuss groundwater contamination in the Pavillion area in Fremont County.
The meeting is set for April 20 in Riverton and will be hosted
by the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality and the Wyoming
Oil and Gas Conservation Commission. Hydrocarbon contamination exists in dozens of water wells in and around Pavillion, an area with a long history of oil and gas
development. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has been studying the contamination to try to pinpoint its source. The meeting is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Central Wyoming College.
