Personal info safe

Jackson, Wy – Rocky Mountain National Bank says the individual who received an e-mail with information on 1,325 bank accounts deleted it without opening it.
Bank Director Jennifer Mayfield says Google Inc. confirmed that
the e-mail was deleted by the recipient without being opened and
read.
Mayfield says that means the information was never used or
misused.
The Rocky Mountain Bank in Jackson says a staffer accidentally
e-mailed the personal loan information of about 1,000 customers to
the wrong address on Aug. 12.
The e-mail contained 2008 loan information including customers'
names, Social Security or tax ID numbers, and loan numbers. The
e-mail did not contain any deposit account information.
Mayfield said the bank has taken measures to prevent any repeat
of the mistake.
