Laramie, WY – The Chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities is praising various projects going in the state concerning democracy. Bruce Cole will be in Wyoming next week viewing some of them. He says a project educating teachers about Women's Suffrage in the west is important. Cole says it's part of an initiative called We the People and it is attempting to provide humanities education for states .
Cole says the Humanities We the People Grants should start solving some of that problem. Cole also praises the various partnerships that have been put together by the Wyoming Council for the Humanities that address a number of important issues in this state.
