A Pulitzer-winning composer is working on a new piece for the Grand Teton Music Festival

Wyoming – The Pulitzer-winning composer Jennifer Higdon is taking a trip to Grand Teton National Park. That's in preparation for a new piece she's writing, commissioned by the Grand Teton Music Festival. It will be a 20-minute orchestral work, and it will premier during the festival's 50th anniversary season next summer. Higdon will be featured at the festival next week. And performances will include this piece, the Grammy-winning Percussion Concerto. She speaks with Molly Messick.
