Wyoming – The town of Jackson has declared October cell phone awareness month. The proclamation cites studies linking cell phone use to brain cancer and other illnesses. This comes as an epidemiologist based in Jackson has a new book coming out demonstrating the risks associated with cell phones. Doctor Devra Davis is an epidemiologist and toxicologist who founded the Environmental Health Trust, which is based in Teton County. Davis' book is titled "Disconnect: The Truth About Cell Phone Radiation, What the Industry Has Done to Hide It, and How to Protect Your Family." Davis joins me on the phone from Jackson to talk about the risks of cell phones.
