Laramie, Wy – Congresswoman Barbara Cubin has been released from a Washington-area hospital, four days after she suffered a mild heart attack while waiting to fly back to Wyoming.
Cubin's spokesman, Joe Milczewski, says Cubin was released Tuesday. He says doctors have advised Cubin not to fly for the time being, meaning she'll miss scheduled appearances this week in Casper, Thermopolis and Worland.
Milczewski says Cubin should be ready to return to work next week.
Cubin was waiting for a flight at Dulles International Airport on Friday when she felt chest pains. A staffer took her to a hospital, where doctors inserted a stent to open up a partially blocked artery.
