Laramie, WY – Results are now official in Wyoming's race for its only US House of Representatives seat. Barbara Cubin came out ahead by 1.04 percent. That's just a fraction over the less than one percent required for an automatic recount. But her challenger Gary Trauner hasn't conceded. Trauner sent state election officials a letter this morning asking them to review two concerns. But state elections head Peggy Nighswonger says the board declined to investigate. Gary Trauner has until Friday to decide whether to ask for a recount, for which he would have to pay. Barbara Cubin issued a statement today thanking her supporters and saying she looks forward to her seventh term in office.
