Rita Meyer is running for Governor

Casper, Wy – State Auditor Rita Meyer is stressing her conservative beliefs as she seeks the Wyoming Republican Party's nomination to run for governor. Meyer formally announced her campaign Tuesday with stops in Casper and Cheyenne.
The 58-year-old Meyer says she's committed to the "right to
life," and peoples' right to have guns.
Meyer joins an increasingly crowded Republican field in the
governor's race.

Rep. Ron Micheli of Fort Bridger and state House
Speaker Colin Simpson of Cody have all formed exploratory
On the Democratic Party side, Gov. Dave Freudenthal says he
hasn't decided whether he'll challenge the state's term-limit law
and run again.
