Rockies Ticket System Melts Down

Laramie, Wyoming – Nearly 20 thousand tickets for every Rockies home game in the World Series are still available, but the problem is no one can buy them. The Rockies shut down online ticket sales for the series because of the nearly 8.5 million hits it received on its website this (Monday) morning. Laramie Rockies fan Brian Macnamee was still trying four hours after tickets went up for sale. He says he's frustrated with the Rockies system. Well I think they should have anticipated it, I mean it's the first time ever that they've ever made the world series so you know it's just going to be one of the hugest events in Colorado history, I'd think they'd be better prepared for it. Macnamee says he's going one way or another-no matter what the cost is, or how long it takes. Rockies officials say plans for the restart of sales will be announced as soon as possible.
