Rooms Full In Gillette

Gillette, Wy – In a normal year, local hotels see
business slack off during the winter months after a busy summer
season.
But this year isn't a normal year in Gillette.
Hotels across Gillette are reporting few rooms available for
passing travelers.
Some of the pressure should ease when the Fairfield Inn and
Suites and the Country Inn open in January and the spring,
respectively. But that doesn't help visitors now.
Hoteliers blame the booming energy industry for the full rooms.
The hotels are working together to help passing motorists find a
place to stay when they don't have any more room themselves.
