Laramie, WY – Senator John Barrasso is wrapping up a series of town hall meetings throughout Wyoming. Then it's back to the Senate for the start of the fall legislative session.
Barrasso says he plans to take up a rural health care bill the late Senator Craig Thomas supported.
Barrasso says the bill, now called the Craig Thomas Rural Hospital and Provider Equity Act, would in part ensure that medicare reimburses rural hospitals on par with urban hospitals.
Barrasso says this legislative session he'll also try to craft a deal to protect the Wyoming range from any energy development.
