Senator DeCaria to step down

Evanston, Wy – State Sen. Ken Decaria, D-Evanston, plans to resign his legislative seat to take a job with the Wyoming Education Association.
Decaria has served in the Legislature for 13 years. He will
start work next month as government relations director for the
education association. The association says he will resign his
position as senator at the end of June.
Decaria has worked as a middle school teacher in Evanston. He
says he knows firsthand the challenges that teachers face in the
classroom as well as the challenges facing legislators.
