Services Friday for shooting victims
CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Funeral services will be held Friday for three brothers and their uncle who were killed in a shooting rampage at the family's mobile home in Wheatland last week.
An employee at the Gorman Funeral Home-Platte Chapel said the public service has been scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday at the First Christian Church in Wheatland.
Thirty-five-year-old Everett Conant III is charged in the shootings. He is the father of the three boys and brother to the fourth victim. Conant's wife was also shot and wounded.
On Wednesday, Circuit Court Magistrate Scott Cole ordered Conant to be evaluated at the state hospital in Evanston for up to 30 days. The evaluation will determine if Conant is competent to stand trial.
Wheatland Police Chief Randy Chesser that autopsy reports haven't been completed in the case.
