Sheridan murder trial starts

Laramie, WY – Jury selection is underway in the trial of a second Sheridan youth accused in the shooting death of a Sheridan businessman during a home invasion last year.
The Sheridan Press reports that over 40 people participated in the process Monday.
Seventeen-year-old Dharminder Vir Sen is accused of first-degree murder in the death of 79-year-old Robert Ernst as well as aggravated burglary and conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary.
Prosecutors allege that Sen fired the gun that killed Ernst in August 2009.
A jury recently convicted 20-year-old Dennis Poitra of murder in Ernst's killing. He faces life in prison when sentenced next month.
Seventeen-year-old Wyatt Bear Cloud, pleaded guilty last month but has since asked to withdraw his plea.
