Sheriff Cutting Back Search Efforts

Saratoga, Wy –
The Carbon County Sheriffs office is suspending a search for a man presumed drowned in the Platte River near Saratoga. Sheriff Jerry Colson says a raft carrying three Saratoga residents capsized Monday, throwing all three into the water. 65 year old Dellia Chaffin was later found dead, but searchers have been unable to locate the body of 59 year old Ellory McCaulley. Colson believes he died in the accident. But after an exhaustive search, the Sheriff says they are scaling back.
Meanwhile, 49 year old Larry Speed survived, but he has been arrested by Game and Fish officials for operating a water craft while intoxicated.
