Laramie, Wy – A plane on its way from Rawlins to Wray, Colorado crashed last night in the Medicine Bow Mountains. The two people on board both died they were husband and wife Eugene and Dana Hadachek from Wray, Colorado. Carbon County Undersheriff Mike Morris says the plane crashed near Sand Lake south of Arlington. Morris says little is known about why the plane crashed. There was no indication of contact from the plane about any problems and no one on the ground noticed anything wrong. Morris does say the weather might have been poor around the time of the accident.
The NTSB and FAA have been called in to lead the investigation. This was the fourth fatal plane crash in Wyoming during 2005 and the second in Carbon County. Three people died when an air ambulance crashed near the Rawlins Airport in January.
