Laramie, WY – The Wyoming Department of Transportation does not yet know how much the recent storms cost in terms of snow removal. Wy-DOT spokesperson, Dave Kingham, says normally statewide storms - like the two that hit last week - cost about a million dollars. He says that's a cost WYDOT can handle, so far: "We do have several million still in the budget, but we do expect more spring storms too."
Kingham says if there is money left over they hope to use it to buy new snowplows.
