Southeast Wyoming community sees rise in people seeking help
Wyoming – We are going to begin today by updating a story we did earlier this year. While reporting on another story surrounding the increase of food stamps it was noted the Public Assistance increased substantially in Goshen County. The numbers were a surprise because the new Medium security prison had just opened in Torrington.
Some speculated that the prison may have led to families of inmates moving into the community but the issue was much more complicated than that.
