Laramie, Wy – In an effort to get more Special Education teachers certified, an Institute will be held in Casper next month. The 2nd annual Wyoming Mentorship Academy will also promote best practices for working with students with special needs. Coordinator Lori Kimbrough says the certification problem could be a big issue for the state.
Kimbrough says the high caliber training is an alternative way to get teacher certification. The Academy takes place July 21st through the 23rd in Casper. She expects around 200 people to attend
