Cheyenne, WY – State Parks may finally be able to make some needed repairs on park roads. The House of Representatives gave final approval to an effort to put seven million dollars into making some immediate repairs to state highways. The bill will also fund some long term needs. Worland Representative Debbie Hammons says the state has identified a 15 million dollar need for Park Road repair. She says this could give the department a great start. She admits she was surprised by the overwhelming support for the bill. Hammons thinks it helped that the issue has been heard by a number of legislative committees. The bill now goes to the Senate.
