Laramie, Wy – Wind-driven snow closed Interstate 80, schools and government offices in southeast Wyoming Friday.
While only a few inches of snow fell in Cheyenne, the heavy, wet snow hit around dawn and was accompanied by winds gusting over 40 miles an hour, forcing schools to call off classes. City, county and state offices also were closed in the morning.
I-80 shut down early today but reopened by midmorning when the
snow and wind let up.
