Supreme Court Justice Retiring

Cheyenne, WY – An ailing Wyoming Supreme Court Justice will leave the bench in January. Larry Lehman is undergoing radiation treatment for brain cancer and decided not to stand for a retention vote this fall. Governor Freudenthal, an attorney himself, says Lehman's been a great jurist for the state and says he's sorry to see him go. Freudenthal didn't anticipated making a Supreme Court appointment because of the ages of the Justices.
