Surprising support for juvenile justice bills

Wyoming – Coming into the legislative session, Wyoming Governor Dave Freudenthal says one of his wishes was to see a pair of juvenile justice bills pass. One asks law enforcement to use a checklist to determine where a Juvenile offender should be placed. Is that in a Juvenile facility, or somewhere else. The other bill helps officials determine what facilities are appropriate for Juveniles. Wyoming has had a tradition of sometimes putting non violent offenders in jail, and many believe that should change. One of those is Cheyenne Democrat Kathryn Sessions who says she is amazed with how easily the bills have move through the legislature...so far. Bob Beck spoke with her outside the Senate chambers....
