Casper, Wy – The Wyoming Department of Education is collecting data about teachers' academic past for a legislative committee examining whether the state's salaries and benefits are
attracting the best candidates.
The data being collected for the study this year includes
information on where current educators went to college, what their
grades were, and how well they did on a teaching test known as

shared with anyone outside the department and won't be used to rate
teachers but to see what kind of candidates schools are getting.
