Teen sentenced in deadly robbery in Casper

Casper , Wy – A third man has been sentenced to prison over a deadly armed robbery in Casper last summer.

A judge sentenced 19-year-old Dustin J. Doyle on Friday to 13 to 15 years in prison. Doyle pleaded guilty in December to conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery.

Prosecutors say Doyle, Edward Lee Hays and Jonathan Kyle Mahaffey went to the home of 32-year-old Chad Ferguson last June intending to rob him and that Hays pulled the trigger.

Hays is serving a life sentence, while Mahaffey was sentenced to 45 to 50 years in prison.

Doyle wept in court as he read a letter to Ferguson's family apologizing for his role in Ferguson's death.
