Teenage brain development could be part of a Sheridan trial

Sheridan, Wy – Teenage brain development could come up during the trial of a 15-year-old accused of murder in Sheridan. Dharminder Vir Sen is the youngest of three people accused in
the home-invasion killing of a prominent businessman last year and
is charged as an adult. County attorney Matt Redle expects the defense will call at least two witnesss to testify about the developmental stage of a 15-year-old's brain. He wants the court to limit any such testimony and a judge heard arguments on the issue Friday. Redle says having a normal 15-year-old brain isn't a deficiency.
Defense lawyer Tim Cotton says experts could help the jury
decide whether Sen specifically intended to commit any crime.
