Cheyenne, Wy – The idea of putting a graduate business school and executive training center in Jackson is moving ahead. The state House approved a bill to study the feasibility of a U-W affiliated school in Teton County.
Governor Dave Freudenthal says the idea is a bit off track. He says it should not have been associated with state land, not been considered a go without study first and he says the idea came up quite late. He says there are some ways this could be great for Wyomingites and ways it could be a train wreck and the devil is in the detail. The Speaker of the House, Randall Luthi, is the sponsor of the bill. He says lawmakers made changes to the bill that makes it a much better plan. The governor says those amendments do get it back on track.
