Thomas Thinks Grizzly Ruling Will Stick

Laramie, Wy – Senator Craig Thomas is pleased that Grizzly Bears are being removed from the endangered species list and he is not worried that lawsuits will overturn that decision. Thomas says objectives have been met and despite possible legal action, he believes the decision to delist Grizzlies will stand. He says they will be best managed by states. Conservation groups worry that the delisting means more drilling and other activities will be allowed in grizzly habitat. They also say that Grizzly habitat is be reduced because of global warming.
