Three in Denver family killed in Wyoming crash
Denver, CO – A Denver couple and their 19-year-old daughter are dead after a crash on any icy stretch of Interstate 80 in Wyoming.
It happened yesterday after their car slid on the highway and was hit by a tractor-trailer six miles west of Rawlins.
Killed in the crash were 59-year-old John David Parr, his 53-year-old wife Sandra Widener, and their daughter Chase. The
couple's 17-year-old daughter Katie was taken to a Casper hospital in critical condition.
The patrol said the accident happened in blowing snow with icy conditions as Parr and his family headed westbound on I-80 in their 2007 Subaru station wagon. Their car slid and ended up sideways across the road before they were hit by the tractor trailer.
