Three die in oil explosion

Three people are dead in an explosion at an oil storage site in Converse County.
The Casper Star Tribune reports that the explosion and fire occurred at about 10 a.m. Monday. The workers who died were all with the Samson Resources Company. Their identities have not been released.
The Converse County Sheriff's Office reports that the site is
now secured. Phil Schmucker is senior vice president of operations for
Samson. He stated in a media release that the company's thoughts
and prayers are with the friends and family of those who died.
Schmucker says the company will work with state, federal and
local officials to investigate the accident.
