Wyoming – Toughening Wyoming Driving under the influence laws has long been a focus of groups like Mothers against Drunk Driving and state law enforcement agencies. And in the last 15 years, Wyoming has made at least seven significant changes to those laws, including lowering the level where someone is considered driving drunk. But the state still is ranked 47th in MADD's list of safe states. Law enforcement agencies say too many people can utilize loopholes in the current law, which can allow them back on the streets with a minimal penalty. The legislature will once again consider addressing that issue. Wyoming Public Radio's Bob Beck reports.
