Laramie, WY – Wyoming's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate fell to 3.1 percent in September.
The rate in August was 3.6 percent. Nationally, the September jobless rate was 4.7 percent.
Teachers returning to work in Wyoming accounted for an increase of 4,800 jobs in the government sector in September.
Big Horn County posted the highest unemployment rate in Wyoming last month at 3.5 percent. Sublette recorded the lowest rate at 1.1 percent.
