Ups and downs for the University of Wyoming
Wyoming – The University of Wyoming faced a rough summer. The school cut over $18 million from its existing budget to address a state budget shortfall. It also removed 45 positions. But at the same time enrollment has been increasing, the campus is wrapping up some major construction projects and it is receiving and is moving forward on a number of important energy and science related projects. University of Wyoming President Tom Buchanan joins Wyoming Public Radio's Bob Beck to discuss the state of the University.
